"The patients helped us to open our eyes for the kingdoms" (B. Joshi)
Bhawisha and Shachindra Joshi, originating from the Mumbai School (Sankaran), are pioneers in the homoeopathic research of the natural kingdoms, especially the animal kingdom. Along with their long lasting practical work at their Indian clinic they gradually refined and specified the consultation procedure in order to come to clearer relations between the patient's problems and his similar individual remedy. More and more their path has led them to examine remedy families within a structural matrix on which remedies can be depicted. They found strong relations between developmental levels resp. behavioural patterns and the series of the Periodic System of Elements.
In their third Berlin seminar Joshi & Joshi initially explain and clarify once again their method of analysis and present the 7 levels in a concise overview, so this seminar can be listened to independently from the two previous ones.
Two classes from the animal kingdom are then presented in detail. While many reptiles have already been integrated in homeopathy for a long time, birds of prey were mostly still unknown. Many of them have been examined only recently, by provings and clinical experience. Both animal classes correspond to the PSE levels 6 (lanthanides) and 7 (actinoids). Therefore the seminar primarily focuses on these two top levels and the differentiation within them.
A large number of birds of prey and reptiles are presented and compared to each other. What similarities do they have and in which way do they differ (also see list of topics below)? Five exemplary cases illustrate how to approach the required remedy in practical daily work.
Once again the Joshis prove to be a highly accomplished and well-trained team, complementing each another excellently. In doing so, they captivate the audience, encourage us to use the levels concept and to try it on our own.
The seminar doesn't only provide practical additional aspects for homoeopathic case analysis, but a deeper understanding of human development patterns, reflected in our high flying and deep creeping predator relatives.

Each PSE series (level) can be assigned to certain groups of remedies from every natural kingdom. These groups display similar structural and thematic properties in various forms and ways of expression. Each level corresponds to a developmental stage of a human being. An individual person may become stuck at one level, due to deep, yet unresolved conflicts. The primary purpose in medical examination is to find out in which level the patient is currently dwelling by his illness.
The way a patient expresses himself leads to a rather precise determination of the natural kingdom and the level in question. In this allocation also the patient's problems can be understood better. The detailed differentiation of the remedies mainly focusses on aspects like lifestyle, relationships, leisure activities or the way a person makes decisions. In brief: what does the patient do to survive in his own world? How does he deal with his weaknesses? The holistic comparison between the patient and the remedy (animal) must be finally decisive. Does the patient match best with a suggested animal remedy?

Dr. Shachindra Joshi (left) / Dr. Bhawisha Joshi (right)

For reasons of patient protection their original voices (from the case videos) have been digitally distorted to make them unrecognizable. However, the lecturers mostly repeat the essential information about the case, so that the voice would only serve as an acustic impression.
This seminar is also available with German translation.
